Clorox Cup Tournament Champions

First Sorry for this being late.

1-1 Tie vs. Bartlesville
7-0 win against ASC Electra
8-0 win against Thunder Egypt
7-0 win in the finals against NWAL Blue

We didn't play up due to having to complete our state league game against ASC Electra.

We came in and took care of business. Individually the girls played with confidence.

While these types of games didn't push us physically or tactically. While we came out and played a little sloppy in the first game. The weather really equalized us. The girls did a great job of over coming many obstacles they couldn't control and did what they had to do to get the tie.

We knew to get into the finals we had to get shut outs and get our goal differential max. They did exactly what they had to do and left little doubt about what the out come of the games would be.

These types of games help us work on our movement without the ball, keeping possession and using our heads. When I put restrictions on such as 10 passes before they can shoot or only shooting out side the 18 or have to score by header only. It forces the girls to keep possession which is really alot more work because it forces them to find that next pass before they have the ball or move into position.

In short...
The girls showed just how much they have improved and continue to show we will need to work hard to find the most competitive venues as we can.
